Jack J Harris

Comedy Director and Writer

I have produced a number of topical television shows including Have I Got News For You (BBC One), The Ranganation (BBC Two) and Yesterday, Today and the Day Before (Comedy Central).  All of these involved extensive script writing and joke writing.

In 2024 I worked in New York as a producer on the American remake of Have I Got News For (CNN) hosted by Roy Wood Jr.  I returned in 2025 to be part of the team for the second season.

I also have experience at edit producing and working in development. I started life in telly through the TV Festival's Network scheme.

I produced a BBC Sounds pilot for Freya Slipper called The Parade. It was a semi-improvised narrative comedy and featured Kiell Smith-Bynoe, Liz Kingsman, Graham Dickson, Kat Bond and Shaun Lowthian to name but a few.

I have a producer credit on Spokke, a Jim Archer directed short film, written by Shaun Lowthian and Tim Grewcock. But it was mainly just an excuse to have a fun weekend spent in rainy Sharpness. You can see it here
